1. What Data is Deleted?
When you delete your Helpora account, we permanently wipe the following data from our active databases within 48 hours:
- Personal Profile: Your full name, email address, and profile picture.
- Credentials & Phone: Your registered phone number used for login and 2Factor OTP history.
- Location Data: Any saved locations and search distance preferences.
- Service History: Booking logs, chat histories between users and service providers, and ratings/reviews.
2. Retention Policy
To comply with standard financial auditing and legal obligations in India:
Important Exception: Completed transaction logs, invoices, and payment references will be retained securely for up to 5 years solely for accounting, tax, and legal requirements. No marketing or authentication data will remain active.
3. How to Request Deletion?
You can request account deletion in two ways:
- In-App: Log in to your Helpora app, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account, and confirm your request.
- Online (This page): Fill out the form on the right and click "Send Request via Email". It will open your mail app to send the request directly to our support team.
