Account Deletion Request

Under Google Play Data Safety policy, you have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data.

1. What Data is Deleted?

When you delete your Helpora account, we permanently wipe the following data from our active databases within 48 hours:

  • Personal Profile: Your full name, email address, and profile picture.
  • Credentials & Phone: Your registered phone number used for login and 2Factor OTP history.
  • Location Data: Any saved locations and search distance preferences.
  • Service History: Booking logs, chat histories between users and service providers, and ratings/reviews.

2. Retention Policy

To comply with standard financial auditing and legal obligations in India:

Important Exception: Completed transaction logs, invoices, and payment references will be retained securely for up to 5 years solely for accounting, tax, and legal requirements. No marketing or authentication data will remain active.

3. How to Request Deletion?

You can request account deletion in two ways:

  1. In-App: Log in to your Helpora app, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account, and confirm your request.
  2. Online (This page): Fill out the form on the right and click "Send Request via Email". It will open your mail app to send the request directly to our support team.

Fill out your account details. Clicking submit will open your default email application to send your request.

What to do next:

  1. A new draft has been opened in your default email application.
  2. Review the pre-filled fields and click Send.
  3. Our team will process your deletion and confirm within 48 hours.
